Bought 2. Love them. Excellent clamping force, and easy to remove. Splatter resistant, which is why I bought them. H*ll, they even look cool.
I've used channellock pliers for a long time and they have always been a durable, reliable tool. The only thing that's gone bad are the wearing of the jaws teeth, but that's to be expected, but the mechanics of the pliers are very good. I know these are locking clamps and don't have teeth but they are very durable and will last a while. They are very useful holding down angle iron and other pieces of metal for welding. The adjusting screw has a locking nut so the adjustment doesn't change when working on same job. You can find cheaper ones, but if your going to use a lot I would recommend these.
These are much nicer quality than the traditional Channel lock pliers. From researching around, these blue colored ones are rebadged Grip-On pliers. They're made in Spain just like all other Grip-on pliers. So that's a good thing. They also sell these under the Snap On brand too for a lot more money. So buy these Channel locks and save some money.
These are nice c-clamp that can be used in multiple applications. They are well constructed and can be tightening as needed. The adjustments are easily done via the dial on the end of the clamp. The quick release is very responsive no matter how tightened down.
This is a well made clamp from a good reputable company. Would recommend.
