Channellock makes nice tools
These pliers cut the easiest of any linesman I've used amongst the popular brands, without a doubt; I regularly use them to cut things I really shouldn't be, and years later they still cut better than its peers. The hammer/anvil style cutter means that any joint wobble that develops over the years won't impact the cutting ability at all, a huge improvement over conventional knife to knife cutters that almost immediately fail to properly mate the blades.
Lighter weight, too, which is great in my pocket. The only real downside I've run into is that the handles will instantly slide off with zero effort right out of the package. I encourage using some glue to help with that...
Used for 3 weeks and they were great until the pivot got really tight all the sudden. Takes two hands to open them. The pivot size is much smaller than Kleins and clearly is the weak point on these pliers. Didn't use them in any way that the kleins couldn't hold up to for years of daily use and absolutely never as a hammer/beater. Wanted to support a USA made company but the quality isn't there.
Excellent combination tool!
