Channellock products are made in the USA and quality made. You cannot go wrong with Channellock screwdrivers or pliers.
These are some of the best screwdrivers I have used, and that's quite a large field of competition. They are sturdy and durable, While the handles could be more comfortable (my only complaint) I do greatly appreciate that they are not round, so this helps keep them from rolling away.Visually they are attractive looking tools, and while that's not something often thought of as a selling point, the dark metal against the blue stands out in a tool drawer and makes me want to reach for them.
Excellent drivers for Robertson screws. I have other sets of these, also made by Chanellock with their "Tri-lobe" grips. I actually prefer these grips to Wera and Wiha. The shape fits my closed palm better and lets me apply torque more easily. I like that the sizes are injection molded into the bottoms of the handles. They won't wear off like printed labels. Robertson screws are hard to find in the US and are mostly available as deck and fence screws, but I prefer them to Phillips. They're less likely to be damaged with high torque or cam-out including the screwdriver tips. The tips on these drivers are durable and just as good as my German tools. I view these on-par with my Wera or Wiha tools.
Although this is not specifically designed for electrical work, these high quality channel screwdrivers with the square bits are excellent for electrical work. Most electrical components use the square bits for their fasteners requirements. These screw drivers are made by Channel so you know you are getting great quality.
This is a nice set of 4 square/Robertson head screwdrivers. I prefer to use hand screwdrivers when I need pocket holes in order to control the alignment of pieces better and not over/under tighten. Also good for disassembling things with pocket hole screws to avoid damaging any threads.The quality of the tools if good. I like the trilobe handles feeling in hand, it allows for good control. rotating one third twist then adjusting grip feels natural to me. The magnetic tips are strong enough to hold a 2.5 inch square head pocket screw on. So for my needs this is the perfect tool. Made in the USA is a bonus and for that the price is good.
