Perfect. Works great!
Well-made, and made in America!
I purchased this specifically for my recently acquired 1997 Jeep wrangler after learning of the heavy use of Torx screws, many of which are unreachable with the use of an apex/bit combination due to limited clearance. I needed a narrow shaft driver like this one.The first project that utilized this tool was the removal and installation of new headlights. I got through removal and reinstallation just fine. 14 screws were removed, 8 of them reinstalled and then I began adjusting the headlights. The escutcheons/bezels were not yet reinstalled.All adjusting screws had been treated with penetrating oil, and allowed time to soak (and treated again). During adjustment, while all screws were moving freely, the channel lock Torx screw driver twisted and broke. this tip currently remains in the head of the adjusting screw awaiting removal.I've broken many bits in many different scenarios, I do understand they don't last a lifetime, but this was disappointing. I bought the CHANNELLOCK brand over and unknown hoping for longevity, but that is not what I received.I am not aware of any warranty currently, but will be looking into it, and will likely update with results.EDITED:orignal post from January 6th 2024 had this at two stars, due to great customer service, I am upping it to four stars, despite the product braking so quickly.Amazon.com was uncooperative, or not helpful with warranty or return, but did provide information from CHANNELLOCK customer service.I spoke with a real person immediately (I left a message, and my call was returned very quickly). She explained that amazon should have fulfilled the warranty. I wasn't told details of the warranty, but the ChannelLock representative gave no challenge to the replacement request and offered to send out a new one, eliminating the hassle of dealing with amazon. I have not yet received the item, but I am not doubting it. I will likely update when certain.
