On oil filters that have the room to use these, they are great. They grab on tight and make it significantly easier to get them off. Some filters just don't have the room for these, but that's why they make all different types of filter wrenches.
These are another Channellock classic. With names like that, you're expectations are usually met, and this is no exception. Definitely one of the better locking pliers I've used, and the large wide mouth grip area comes more in handy than you would think. I've used this on larger PVC pipes several times already, or just grabbing tree branches while cutting them to prevent things from falling too early or vibrating too much. Really happy with these pliers!

These ones are the quality I have come to expect from decades of using Channel Lock products. The are solid, well made, adjust nicely and lock securely. They have less play in the mechanism when compared to the pair that came in my welding supply kit from a well known welding machine company. These are worth every penny and I am probably going to order a few more.
I already used these clamps they work good made of good metal hood coating on them, one thing I didn’t like is the center arm that’s inside that spaces out the clamp it falls out if you adjust to much
The Channellock 104-10 10-inch large jaw locking pliers works well for any number of jobs where a quick clamping of items is needed. Whether for welding to secure items together or for other needs that require a quick securing in place this will do the job. One handy feature is it comes with a lock nut on the adjust bolt that can be used to keep the adjustment in place to avoid unintended movement when setting the tool for repeated use at a particular setting. The tool seems well made and is a brand with a long history of quality products. I would recommend this tool.
