Works on odd size items that don’t require lots of torque. Fork caps on vintage motorcycles can be odd sizes and these pliers don’t leave any marks on them. Much better than most other options
Call me crazy, but I will pay a little more to buy American and keep folks at work over keeping folks in China at work.I bought 2, and was surprised at the poor quality control in allowing semi-rough edges on what are supposed to be smooth Jaw surfaces (on both).I took a flat metal file and filed the edges down in a few seconds, BUT I expect better from the Channellock brand, and for the price.Other than that, I am pleased with my purchase.
This is my second set. The first was lost during a recent move.I have both straight and channeled versions of these pliers, which I use regularly.
