The selection of Channellock tools in Home Depot and Lowe's needs to be expanded to include more choices.
I'd like to purchase the larger oil filter wrench.
I have the smaller model,the 209(?) but the larger one,the 212(?) isn't carried.
I'll eventually purchase one directly from you when the time comes.
We were in Texas and knew we'd need a good sack of fish to beat the other local anglers ("hammers"!), especially in East Texas! We were using lures with 2 sets of treble hooks. We were almost out of time left to fish. I caught a small fish. It was hooked deep, and it's best (for the fish's health) to just cut the hook off, swap it for a new one, and keep fishing. I knew I had some other split ring pliers in my bag- but where? No idea! My partner had a pair of these exact ones in his console. He almost yelled at me to use them! I grabbed them and changed the hooks in seconds! I made about 3 casts, hooked and landed a 6.78 lb. bass! I quickly culled the smallest bass. Off to weigh-in on time. And yep! We won the tournament! My partner gave me his Channellock pliers! Made in the U.S.A...Worked better than any other pair I've ever had. Back in the Summer, I'd beached my boat, close to a crowded ramp, went to get the truck, to load my rig on the trailer. My pliers were in a dry box, between the seats, with just some hooks and split rings. I loaded the boat, and was about to leave when I noticed it was gone. Stolen. Someone must've thought my iPhone, wallet, maybe some other valuables were in the box and had taken it. But all they got was a used $30 pair of split ring pliers and a few hooks and split rings! But to me? Those Channellock Pliers were really valuable! They'd paid for themselves thousands of times! Please keep them in stock & I'll never buy any other brand. Great product!
