When i got them they were very tight. Not able to use 1 handed. Thought they'd free up. Used couple hunders times and they're getting tighter and harder to use! Almost not able to open them. They're very clean and stored in climate controlled shop.
These are easily my favorite crimper and cutters. Excellent quality. I have a pair for home and a pair for work. Won't buy anything else.

As a self-maintenance person, I usually buy "cheaper" priced tools because of my limited budget. However, from time to time, I upgraded certain tools; this was one of them. I purchased this tool several years ago. It is part of my personal electrical kit for home maintenance and repairs. I like them.
