They should take this out of their product line.I had three 76mm snap rings to remove which were very tight. I upgraded to this heavy duty version. Using my bare hands, the plier handles bent and the body of the tool warped in such a way it was difficult to re-open the tool. I owned this tool for about 15 minutes before returning it back to Amazon.

I had bought 2 other less expensive snap ring plier sets trying to fix the wheel on my Honda mower, but the tips were too big and the pliers were too flimsy to grab and remove the ring. I stopped messing around with junk and bought these Channellocks, and had the ring off in 5 seconds. Worked great for the internal ring I was trying to remove. I had bought a cheap set from a local store. Only one they had..And they just werent strong enough to hold the ring long enough to remove. I had also tried a pair of neednose pliers, but kept slipping off. The moment I received these I opened and tried them out, and worked perfectly. And again when I reinstalled it.. I had the excitement of it working so well I really wanted to find others rings to try it out on. But restrained myself, having other things to get done. The ring is 1-1/2" wide and the pin holes to remove it 1/2 ". Holds a bearing in place. I like the easy lever to switch it from internal to external also instead of the remounting different heads and such.

These are the worse snap ring pliers in the universe….all tips broke off….every tip was crooked…they suck just isn’t enough I wish I could describe how bad I hate these pliers
