It features Xtreme Leverage Technology (XLT™), which requires considerably less force to cut than traditional high-leverage designs. The CHANNELLOCK BLUE® grips reduce hand fatigue, while the spring-loaded handle allows for effortless left or right-handed operation. It efficiently strips 8-18 AWG solid and 10-20 AWG stranded wire, features a reaming head for conduits up to 1 inch, and cuts bolts sized 6-32 and 8-32 with ease. I love to have a tool that feels great in my hand and does its job with efficiency. For that the tool must have good quality. And the Channellock - 7-1/2 Forged Wire Stripper Cuts has all of that. Buy it and you won't regret it.

A real time saver

I purchased these pliers for some DIY electrical work and they were a real time saver. If you're a DIY'er I recommend watching a few videos to help you understand all the features incorporated in these. Knowing the features really helped me speed up my jobs without carrying duplicate tools. Ergonomics are good with the exception of heavier cutting and crimping. I found the handles to be a bit short to comfortably cut/crimp heavier material.
