Great Price Great Pliers

So I bought the Knipex 250s a while back for work. I do a lot at both home and work, so I wanted a 2nd pair in order to have make sure I always had one. I saw these, saw the price and really wanted to give it a try. I cannot say that they are direct replacements to the knipex, however they do a damn good job. I have used them for some at home plumbing repairs, they are great for gripping flywheels on chainsaws, and I’ve even used them to adjust pins on an excavator in order to install locking pins. Having both the channel lock and knipex is great just because of the slight difference in angle. You do lose some adjustability, however the price difference makes up for that. If I was to do it again, I’d get the full sat of these before I bought the knipex just because of the price. When using these pliers, if you use them in the right direction and you have the adjustment right, it will lock on and bite to where you don’t need to even squeeze the handle, you can push the lower jaw side of the pliers and it locks on.The pliers were a little tight at first because of the rust resistant coating, but after a week of you it starting adjusting smoothly. My only complaints are the coating seems a little messing when it was applied, and the printed letters on the dipped handles came off after 2 months of use.
