This is a great small, heavy-duty prybar. Perfect for those situations where you need something fairly substantial to pry with, but the bigger ones just won't fit. Made in the USA. The steel seems to be good with a substantial handle and a decent steel striking cap on the back. I use this one quite a bit because it's easy to handle and fits into spaces better than my bigger ones. Just keep in mind to use the right length and girth for the application. If you're afraid of bending it, you're not using a big enough prybar. These are very adequate for the price point.
Work in a scrap yard dismantling cars they’ve seen about the worst of it and hold up really nice good quality products
What’s not to like about Channellock? Made in America, great quality and made tough. All of their tools are superb. Been an electrician for 40 years and have never used anything but Channellock linesman pliers and their adjustable pliers (in the trades everyone calls adjustable pliers “Channellocks”! Kind of like when you ask for Kleenex)This little pry bar has been great for prying off covers that have been stuck or rusted shut, pre-cleaning gasket surfaces, or prying pieces of wood apart. Great tool and a great company!
I primarily use this pry bar to push back the caliper piston for brake pad replacements. It's nice and compact, has an ergonomic handle, and is plenty strong enough for the job. I like that it's from an American company I can trust. Would buy again.
The vibration feedback when you strike it is unbearable
