Excellent buy. Great product at a very reasonable price.
I've owned Channellock pliers since my late teens. The brand has made products of great value and no-frills design, a great choice for anyone starting out. Very reliable tools made by a company that strives to stay competitive. I've known about these new screwdrivers for a while, but I haven't seen them in stores. When I saw that they made these in the Roberts square drive pattern, I immediately placed an order.The ergonomics of the handle are nearly perfect. I'm thrilled they left the soft elastomers behind. In the spirit of Channellock, these are a well made restrained design that are EASY TO CLEAN.They are marked on the handle end to inform you of the drive type and size, but because this is a molded-in feature, it is not easy to read. If they had contrasting marks for better readability, these would come close to competing with Snap-on. Try one and see for yourself!
Channellock products are made in the USA and quality made. You cannot go wrong with Channellock screwdrivers or pliers.
These are some of the best screwdrivers I have used, and that's quite a large field of competition. They are sturdy and durable, While the handles could be more comfortable (my only complaint) I do greatly appreciate that they are not round, so this helps keep them from rolling away.Visually they are attractive looking tools, and while that's not something often thought of as a selling point, the dark metal against the blue stands out in a tool drawer and makes me want to reach for them.
