I carry around a 5/16 screwdriver at all times almost exclusively for the purpose of prying and chiseling on things, which to be completely clear the handle explicitly says NOT to do. Regardless, I don't want to mess up my hammer (Linesman pliers) so I use the non-demolition screwdrivers for this purpose, and I'm happy to say the new channellock holds up pretty well. The tip has held up pretty well to use as a chisel in breaking bit of concrete or turning lock rings, and the shaft has survived my entire body weight being put against it trying to turn a conduit body without any deformation-- It bends quite a bit, but the tempering is such that it'll spring right back into shape, similar to Knipex needle nose. Additionally, if you were gutsy enough to actually use it as a screwdriver, Channellock (Made by Mayhew, who also services Wright's new Screwdrivers) seems to be the only source of 5/16 and larger cabinet-tip style screwdrivers, which has come in handy in some electrical panels thus far.The only downsides I've encountered revolve around the handle: The shape is really nice, I'm a big fan of the tri-lobe design reminiscent of Snap-On's instinct handle, but the flavor of acetate they use is slightly soft and tacky-- it attracts a lot of dirt and suffers a lot of damage when hit with pliers. Eventually, I'll have destroyed the handle and will end up swapping to Channellock's demolition screwdriver, but in the meantime this is doing great.
